no Kuomintang Revolution, unless we break away ff from

them and work it in our own way. If we work with them

we shall be pursuing the policy of armed outrage of the Communist revolutionary workmen. This may be good

as well, but we cannot allow our workmen to be gained over by the Communists and made to help them to their revolution against our Kuomintang. We want our armed Kuomintang workmen to accomplish the labour revolution of our President, and this is the true object of our President in re-organising the Kuomintang with bitter efforts and in permitting the admission of the Communists into our Party. Hints have been given by him that we must expel the Communists when they make any attempt to endanger our Kuomintang, and this can only be what Mr. Wong has referred to as being established by our

late President. I have found some documents written

in his own hand which will prove my case and 1 will

quote below with an explanation.

Our

Mr. Wong has neglected the possible destruction of our Kuomintang, and has only been anxious to see the Comunists succeed in their revolution, assuming that

the success of the Communists means also that of our

Kuomintang. This is only a belief on the part of Mr. Wong himself. The Communists can never succeed, and I will send Mr. Wong an explanation separately. President never had any idea that the success of the

Communists would mean our own success. Mr. Wong is his

leading follower, and should not have made such a mistake.

(He has said in his letter from Hankow to Mr. Li, "The

Leftists: the Leftists! they should long for the success of the Communists even in their dreams".) Mr. Wong

hates to be a Kightist, and has worked hard for the
